and in Spain it's illegal not to, but what does that have to do with Martinez?

I'm not sure how something can be specific without details or how you then think that can be explained with "but maybe he has a release clause".

Even if he does have a clause it's clearly going to be one that reflects his status which, when he signed his current deal, was that of a Copa America winner who had just had 18months of being one of the best keepers in the league. So, as has been the case all along, how many clubs need a goalkeeper and have the finances to pay £75m+ for one?

That's why 'right team, right money' isn't particularly insightful. It's true, and will be for almost every player in the world, but unless the person making that claim has specific knowledge of a team that are interested, have the money and are able to offer him everything he'd need to move then it is, as said, a vacuous statement. One that is made so they can come back to later and claim they were right with, whatever happens and have people like you laud them as ITK and hanging on their every word.
