So we should have shut up shop and protected that 2-3 for the last 20 seconds? What a load of utter bollocks.

Even if that is the case - and it’s very odd for Emery to call it out in public - it doesn’t change the fact it’s a very normal thing to do.

May be the case but it was unauthorised by Martinez and no instructions to do that.
100% I heard it and saw it that Emery has called him out. Your'll see.

I’m not saying you didn’t, I’m saying it’s very odd for Emery to call him out in public. Either way it makes absolute sense to throw the dice at that stage.

How about you just keep quiet and stop winding people up?

I still don’t think you’re right - even if the manager doesn’t have goalkeepers go up for corners. That’s an odd quirk of the manager, but it’s a perfectly reasonable risk based decision to take in the 97th minute when you have a corner and you’re losing.

He's a very good keeper, but his standard yellow card and acting up is a bit boring.
He's also not as good as he thinks he is.

But Emery said no.
I won't say anymore. People don't want to hear when have true info.

Ok sorry. I won't go on. Its just prefer players to follow managers orders. I will say no more. Don't want to annoy anyone as I'm annoyed too.
Say no more.

The Arse fans were ripping the piss out of him for 5 minutes solid after the final whistle. He’s been a nightmare the last 3 games.

How? Again, what was his fault? Again, against City he kept it down to double figures.

At least five kick outs straight into touch, including the one that led to the first goal.

And time wasting when it’s 2-2 and we can still win the game? Arse.

I don't actually think it is a reasonable risk based decision because, actually, the chances of a goalkeeper scoring or actually helping the scoring of a goal from a corner are so low.  In fact, the more likely scenario is that even if the ball does come anywhere near him, the goalkeeper coming up into the box will just get in the way of his own players in his desperation to be involved.
