I  think we call know he is going to move on probably at the end of the season, his agent is looking for a big pay day.  Agents rule football now, lets just make sure we screw whatever club comes in for him.

If he's a top 20 player, then surely it'll be about £80 mil

I hate to labour the point, but which club do you expect to come in for him?

I see where you are coming from Dave but in England Manure and Chelsea would both be interested, most clubs in Spain and don't think for one minute other European top dogs will be sniffing about.  Its perhaps not Emi who is running away but  stary eyed agent who is cultivating a move.

What evidence is there of that?

A lot of clubs would want him but I just don't see any club stumping up what we'd want for him (contract clauses permitting). I can't see it at all. I also genuinely believe he loves us, which is admittedly a little naive of me but I don't fool myself often with shit like that.

Of course there is a chance he will get picked off. I doubt any team outside the PL can afford him.
I don’t see Arse Citeh Liverpool Chelsea Newcastle in the market but that does open up the possibility of Spurs or Manure looking for an upgrade.

He truly does exude an air of having the ****ing time of his life since he's been with us, like no clue at all of him being even slightly unhappy in his work. There was even that bollocks about him not getting on with Emery. He wouldn't be wearing the armband if that were so. The bloke bleeds claret and blue.

To be fair his agent would get a big fee if he signs a new improved deal at Vila which must be a consideration.

That said only a few could afford him and a subset of those may want or feel they need him - Barca, ManU , Chelsea(for the hell of it) and Bayern

I read tat Fifa are looking to change the rules for penalties so keepers cannot psych the takers ou.

Fuck me that is the best part of a shootout

Miserable wankers - things they will do to stop our Emi

How on earth could they enforce that, and what would it involve? A mean stare, a few words shouted at the kicker, what?
