Olsen did very well today. Some of the shit on here was way over the top as usual
Olsen was good today and caught pretty much everything that came into the box, the only keeper to make a mistake today was the one that had just come back from a World Cup final.
As good as Martinez is you can't spend the last two weeks partying in Argentina and then rock up and play in the premier league. How many times has he trained this week? I would imagine going from England to Qatar to Argentina to Qatar his body clock alone is all over the place. Seeing his own Instagram account he's very much enjoyed his time back home and there are hardly lots of pictures of him training, in the gym etc.Emery is trying to set standards at the club, he's no fool he'll know who his best keeper is but he's shown confidence in Olsen when many of us (myself included) perhaps feel Olsen isn't good enough.
Honestly what a load of bollocks. Martinez has done nothing wrong. The manager has given him time off and you’re making out like he’s out there teaching him a lesson. He’s not. He’s our number one keeper and Olsen is the back up. It’s that simple. Stop making it into something that it just isn’t.

He's been all over global news for weeks for his shithousery, so maybe letting him keep his head down for a little extra time while the nonsense dies down is a good idea.
