IF HE HAS A CONCUSSION AT ALL HE'S NOT PLAYING AT ALL OMG

What on earth do you think a concussion is?
Ok listen. We aren't here to get annoyed with one another unless grounds for unjust behaviour. I find the tone aggressive and do not wish to discuss or debate any further
Clearly I have an understanding of concussion as highlighted player safety. We must treat players safely and also each other

Good Day. And Up the Villa.

If his concussion was still an issue, he wouldn't have played on Sunday.

Emery will want to get off to as good a start as possible and take tonight as seriously, so I'd be amazed if Martinez doesn't start.

As I had flagged the concern previously now unfortunately it came to reality for Martinez was patiently at fault for his poor pass out and conceding under a minute at Brighton.

To me he's just not good enough with his short game.
Passing wise and decision to kick short isn't so good several occasions.

No just pointing out deficiencies at passing and stuff that people needed to prepared or notified about.
His long game to Danny Ings has been outstanding and I think going long has been fine.

I was the one to suggest he should be captain and have championed. I give all sorts of observations actually giving fair account of how  I see it.

He’s all we have got and most people are happy with that. The alternative is simply unthinkable

Silly mistake.
But he will gain us way more points than he will cost us.

I also think he has the character to put something like that behind him quickly and move on. Not collapse

That's a great point. His character is immense and a proven winner. That's why he is a good fit as Captain.

By the way to add Toronto and furthermore on the scout report of Martinez first half and notes I've made

- Douglas Luiz was criticising Martinez for getting Mings into trouble with a pass in the first half.
Luiz's advice to kick it far.
-Additionally, he was terribly out of position when Brighton's corner kick almost resulted in a goal.
-He also made two excellent long passes out to Danny Ings, as was already fairly stated.
-He was smart and assumed responsibility by coming out to head the ball (debatable if he should have or not but was fine)

Please note both the positive and negative aspects of a player or game, and don't just ignore mistakes that are made. Many football fans actually do that.

There's an excellent opportunity to take this approach during the World Cup football on analysis of matches and players on all the teams.

Just a suggestion.

I hope he wins the World Cup, but he's already established himself with a reputation
It's no surprise he was booked for his antics.
People in football complain about Richarlison and Neymar's antics, but Martinez is right up there with the best of them!
So there's no argument against it if they don't agree with how Neymar and Richarlison behaviour.

I know no one wants to see it from a rival player, but the only thing that can endure is that he plays for our team and it's done to benefit our team, as we support Aston Villa.

However, it is not football, but  I understand it is part of the tactics and way that Martinez chooses to be and Emery will not discourage it.
It's a win-at-all-costs mindset. That can be acknowledged, but I will never applaud such football antics due to my honour of sport.

Today versus Brighton what is rather repulsive is throwing the ball out and then collapsing as if injured.

Be careful what you wish for, because Martinez may come up against the team they are following at the World Cup and you may not be so generous in their admiration for his scheming.

It's unfortunate that he has now this reputation on the pitch but it's fantastic that we won.

I have a high confidence when I next post on Emi Martinez thread he'll be the World Cup winner no doubt he and Argentina will deserve it and have to accept he plays how he plays.
