Awful
Not having a Premier League no.2 at the football club is as bad of a decision as not bringing in a proper central midfielder. DISGRACE!

Going to need a huge display from him on Friday night with yet another new CB pairing in front of him.

He should have saved the second, could have cost Smith his job.

And the first. Struggling to recall many saves he's made at all this season to be honest. Not much he can do when the defence has been as robust as a cardboard teapot though I suppose.

The keeper isn't the problem, nor is the defence to a certain degree.

The problem is the total lack of a robust midfield in front of the defence.

It feels less like a midfield, more like a hyperspace wormhole where our players disappear, and swathes of enemies appear from nowhere to attack

Not a Marvelous or a Douglas
West Ham had two

Correct (although I'd say the defence also hasn't been helped by the formation changes).

The first two goals on Sunday came from their right back (who should've been tracked back by Bailey) and their DCM, who should've been closed down much quicker by one of our three centre mids.

You can't blame Emi for either of those.

Whenever there’s been internationals and I see a player thread bump to the top of the page, I assume there’s been an injury.

How very Aston Villa of me 😂 (we really would be knackered if Emi got injured)

At what point should we worry about a new contract for him? Douglas Luiz also.
