Whilst some differences, Portuguese and Spanish share a lot of  common structures. However from a distance you can see exactly what he is saying anyway so no translations would have been needed.

Love the guy, as £20 million bargains go , it's up there with Paul McGrath as the best bit of business the club have done since we signed Dennis Mortimer.

Karma for all their fan's that were back home watching Strictly Come Dancing , not bothering to watch their captain lift the cup , whilst we hadn't even got on the train home yet .

Looking at the melee, do I see a grin come to Luiz' face as Martinez is giving it to Ronaldo, despite the situation we were facing? Anybody know how his Portuguese is?

Cavani (not Portuguese) certainly seems to find it funny at the end from twitter feeds.

Emi knew exactly what he was going to do in the shithousery stakes from the moment the penalty was awarded. He couldnt have out-psyched Fernandes any more if he had water-boarded him for 5 hours before he took the kick. And his faceoff with the Man United lot behind the goal was brilliant, but again see how calm Tyrone was in going over straight away and stopping him. Fabulous captaincy.

It was less than that wasn't it? £17m I think but I stand correct. He's been an incredible signing. Whoever thought of him deserves a pay rise.

He's a nutter!*  And sometimes you've just got to love nutters, especially this one.

* In the nicest possible way, not Joey Barton type of nutter.

Pointing to Ronaldo and telling him to take it. I bloody love him.*
