What will the situation be on their return. If they have to spend two weeks in a hotel then I'd have thought that this would seriously set back their fitness?
I think they will spend the 10 days on Hvar, a Croatian island (on the green list), before coming back here

Ok, which I assume means they are doing this to avoid being in a hotel room and could train when they are there.

Ffs.

At least he's not getting injured I suppose.
Yes - just look at the tackle on Messi - very lucky to walk of the pitch.

Only when we're playing Sheffield United.

According to BBC gossip (via La Razon) Atletico Madrid might make a move for Emi next summer if Jan Oblak leaves. Let's hope that stopover in Madrid isn't too long.

Martinez is one of the best keepers in the league. He is easily going around the 50m mark

If he went for 50m I’d be mightily passed off.

Ramsdale went for 30m and he is chod.

Yep bidding starts for Emi at £65m as he’s up there with the best in the League.

I hope not. If we're getting into that Lerner mindset of asset stripping a big name each season then we all know the long term consequences. Unless he has another clause, we want at least on a par with the current transfer record for a 'keeper before we even look at it

Agreed, he’s now first choice for a top line nation.

Yes, but we're damned if we do and damned if we don't.  If he doesn't have the dreaded release clause in his current one you can almost certainly guarantee that he will have; in any renegotiated new one.

The Two Emi's have been released by Argentina, will not play in Fridays game against Bolivia and will now hopefully be on their way to Croatia.
