Argentina coughed up a 2-0 lead after Emi left the game. Match ended 2-2

Keeper certainly could have done better for the equaliser too. I think Emi I’s place is safe in that side.

Emi seems like he will be fine and thanked the team doctor in a tweet tonight.

Good news. Must admit, I'm always a bit uneasy with possible injuries to our players in these internationals.

Bloody hell, just woke up to see the video of him being taken away in an ambulance. Panicked when I realised it was him, but so pleased to hear he’s fine, phew.

Is he definitely fine? Or is this a Villa, he should be back in time for the first game of the season and returns in October type fine?

Takes an elbow to the face and still holds onto the ball.

Glad he's ok, was clumsy as fuck from Mina though, not surprised he got booked for that, could've been a much worse injury.

Mina is awful. What on earth possessed Everton to buy him?

I checked this morning to see if our new Emi was involved and was a bit surprised to see the original Emi being substituted. Glad all seems to be well.

His displays at the World Cup, wasn't it? Great header against England for Colombia.

But yeah, I really wanted Keinan Davis to play against Everton in our two-legged League matches against them last month. Just so he could duff Mina up. Yerry didn't play in either game. Cried-off at the thought of Keinan, I reckon.
