Can't recall it having been reported with that level of precision anywhere. 😉
Most on here thought he was being hindered by assists.

Bursitis makes as much sense as a cyst. Whatever it was seemed to pretty clearly be restricting him at the very top end of his pace. He's had that extra bit of pace back for the last couple of months and it makes all the difference.

I think he prides himself on being a pest and gets confidence back by pressing defenders and running them around as much as he does from goals and assists and that was the bit he was struggling to do.

Lol tbh I haven’t noticed.

Footballers aren’t really my thing, I’m more into big bear type men. Like Nick Frost in Shawn if the Dead.

I'll make a mental note to stay clear of you then!

If big fat hairy blokes are your thing, I might just break your heart.

I'll give you some live eye-candy, though.

They call me the hairy Irish Aaron Taylor-Johnson of North Birmingham.

Or Bluto from Popeye. Maybe even Zod…….

You look like you're about to talk about betting in play.

Since West Ham at home in late March, he’s been literally unplayable in every game. He led the charge in the wins against Forest, Liverpool, Man City and ran the Freiburg defence ragged. His all round energy levels are incredible. He’s absolutely integral to how Emery’s Villa play. More please next year Ollie.

I wonder if we'll ever know for sure if he was hampered by injury or just bang out of form.

I suspect it was a bit of a mix of both.

I reckon he also did Ezri a favour yesterday, him giving John Stones his own personal send off has probably confirmed Guehi - Konsa as the absolute first choice pairing at the World Cup.

Yes, the small nagging injury impairing his movement, led to a poor run of form followed by a slump in confidence that made the dip hard to recover from.

His footwork to send Stones into a different postcode before scoring was great.

He’s absolutely brilliant. I’m looking forward to us replacing him. Don’t ask me who with, I’m not a scout.

Looking at Instagram, McGinn finding it hilarious that he managed to score 2 yesterday, despite a few heavy nights.

Ollie's moved onto 91 Premier League goals in 221 PL games with his brace yesterday.

199 goals for club and country so decent chance he breaks 200 this summer.

Shut quite a few up over the last few months.

What a player, Villa legend.
