On fire, assist was top quality.

Nah, doesn’t count.

Since he wasn't picked by Tuchel, he's been in a very rich vein of form.  Hopefully he can continue and see us over the line for CL places, a bit of silverware, and maybe find himself on the plane to the US...

Right now Tammy can have no complaints about Ollie starting ahead of him, even though he himself scored the winner today.  It's great having two strikers putting the ball in the net in the same game!

The absolute perfect time to get into form.

That assist was a great touch, and it was his left wasn’t it?

He’s going to get us into the CL again and hopefully win us our first trophy in three decades. That’s what I will remember Ollie for when he hangs it up. Despite his down moments he’s going to end up with close to 200 goals and assists.

On the other hand, have you thought that maybe he's really shit and we should be thankful if West Ham offer us £10m for him in the summer?

That may have been the best I've ever seen him play.

It had crossed my mind Dave. At one point I didn’t think he’d be good enough for Stockport let alone West Ham.

Was thinking about that England thing. Heard a pundit call it a "kick up the arse". Load of old bollocks. The service is better, for starters. Might be something in there psychologically about being better when there's something to gain, rather than something to lose i.e. England.

He's been superb for weeks now whatever the reason.

I think it’s both. The service today was excellent but he’s looked off his game for a good part of the season. Be it his own levels he wasn’t achieving, the injury, whatever it was he wasn’t himself. And sometimes other things can be a source of motivation. And the thought of missing the WC might have done the trick.

He said himself, the first half of the season he wasn’t performing, he didn’t say why though. It could have been a number of things, from form, the apparent injury, lack of service and confidence. Whatever, he’s been brilliant again the last few weeks and the service to him has definitely improved.

He’s such a fine player and suits our team perfectly.

Like Paddy I reckon the 'dropped' bit was bollocks, Tuchel has most likely told him to get fit and firing and he's going, those pair of plodders that played instead were the 'just in case' auditions and they were wank.

I'd lost faith but he's absolutely rammed it back of late. Good lad
