Agreed.  We will miss him when he goes.

IMO we'd have had a much chance of winning with Ollie starting and Tammy coming off the bench last half an hour. But we'll never know one way or the other unless we can jump to the parallel universe that happened in.

Didn't think he played well, did he touch the ball at all?

It’s your myopic obsession above all else that is bizarre. How even you can’t see having another striker as an option wouldn’t have been helpful today is bizarre.

We would have had a stronger bench. OK.

In a game where we spent the entire 2nd half in and around their box, what would he have offered that we didn't already have on the pitch? His positive attributes did not suit the type of game it was. What we needed was a poacher, and he isn't that.

No we didn’t - we had a poacher.

If nothing else Watkins could have come on for Tammy last 30 mins. Tammy had chances to score but had little impact late on.

Would Ollie have put away our disallowed goal?

Would he have buried any of the 27 attempts we had? Statistically yes. Doesn't prove anything though.

It's strange enough to criticise him whenever he plays, to find a way to do it when he's out injured is utterly bizarre.

Did you even read the thread?

Someone said we missed him. I don't think we did.

You stated it as an absolute fact.

Would have been nice to have had him with Tammy today as a bit of something different with his pace and the way he works centre half.

It’s also quite weird in the context of being our Premier League record goal scorer who famously does really well against Brentford (nearly a goal a game from memory).
