Ollie is not necessarily out for Sunday according to Unai.

See him in May, if we're lucky.

I'd still be perfectly happy to let him sit this one out.

Yes I wouldn’t risk this..

I'll miss Watkins telling Brentford fans to fuck off, though.

It looked like he'd tweaked his hamstring but I'd still want him fully fit rather than risking further damage. rest him on Sunday, he can give the Vs from his box.

He'll be out, it's a smokescreen. I'm guessing 2-3weeks.

I have been ordered to direct my posting to this thread.

The discussion: What would Watkins have offered today that we were missing?

He looked fine in the boxes today.  Think he will be back next week.  We need him.

Hmmm - known for occupying and moving central defenders out of position, stretching defences and creating space. Something we definitely didn’t need. Also he famously never scores against Brentford…

It's strange enough to criticise him whenever he plays, to find a way to do it when he's out injured is utterly bizarre.

Did you even read the thread?

Someone said we missed him. I don't think we did.

I was then asked to post here instead of in that thread.

Is that a problem? Or is it OK to post that we missed him but not OK to disagree with it?

Yes I did. And it's bizarre.

Then you'd know it wasn't me who started that discussion. So the only 'bizarre' thing is disagreeing with someone. Which shouldn't be bizarre on a Villa forum where we discuss Villa.

It’s your myopic obsession above all else that is bizarre. How even you can’t see having another striker as an option wouldn’t have been helpful today is bizarre.
