It's above van Nistelrooy (75%) and almost exactly the same as Thierry Henry's (77.8%)

Henry's is lower than it should be because he kept passing to Pires.

Didn't one of them get a yellow card for that?

I've just referenced this elsewhere, I thought Pires was the penalty taker?

Pires. I confess, watching it now I'm not sure why the referee stopped the game? I'm not sure Pires touches it and if he doesn't, surely it's a live ball and Man City should be able to carry on their counter-attack?

I was certain he actually did a little pass. Funny how your brain tricks you. I wonder what else I remember that didn't actually happen. Did we definitely score yesterday?

I'm assuming I've forgotten a few Villa FA Cup wins. There's no way a club of our stature could go sixty-eight years without winning it.

There was one that "worked" as well. (Edit: I thought I had seen Henry score but the only one mentioned was when he passed to Malouda in a charity match which the opposition must have known about and shouldn't have been given as encroachment occurred.)

The City players couldn't believe he called it back either if you see the reaction of the player on the ball, although both Henry AND Mills(?) encroached before the ball was struck so he could have given anything really.

I can admit he's proven me wrong. A fluke finish that takes him to 1 goal in his last 11 speaks for itself.

Last season he chipped the keeper which I thought was an easy touch despite too many thinking it was genius. This goal however really deserves credit, a fantastic touch and to tell the truth I never thought Watkins had it in him to score such a goal. Excellent stuff.

Strange what happens when you play to his strengths..
