I see it now.  Some bloke purporting to be called Shaun Cash has said the keeper fell on him and caused a twisted ankle.

Dunno about that, his brother is called Adam (he was linked in the pictures of his family at his signing if you remember) and he's called the whole thing fake news on a couple of tweets so unless something comes from the club it's safe to say it was bollocks.

There’s a bloke up the road from me who is in day to day contact with the players, as expected we often talk Villa when we see each other and funnily enough we we talking about Cash earlier in the week. He said he’s a great bloke and is absolutely loving it at the Villa and relishing every day.
I did message him last night when I saw the news of a potential injury, no reply yet but I’ll try and seek him out on the school run in a bit.

Glad this is bollocks or at worse, a twisted ankle. I was having flashbacks to Kozak (think it was him) where rumours started of him being involved in a bad injury in training and it turned out to be true.

Now Matty is suspended for Thursday who should replace him. Elmo or Freddie Guilbert?

I think it will be Elmo. One problem with playing the same team repeatedly. We've got a couple of other players on 4 yellow cards too.

I’d put Fred in as well, but Elmo is the safer bet I guess.

It it was away, I would favour Elmo.

At home vs Burnley, who will sit deep.  Has to be Freddy.

Freddie for his pace as they'll try and hit us on the break with long balls.

Freddie is the closest in terms of how he plays the game to Cash, and is a better defender than Elmo, so Guilbert for me as well.
