Elmo all the way for his height at set-pieces.

Burnley really exploited Freddie in the game at Villa Park last season and will look to do so again.

That's not going to be that much of a consideration is it? I wouldn't say Elmo is especially known for his aerial prowess.

He will pick Elmo over Guilbert which I don’t still get given how well Freddie played at the end of last season.

He isn't bad in the air to be fair. We have a team of midgets and Burnley will target that. Of our outfield players, only Konsa and Watkins are very good in the air, Mings for all his shaping isn't that dominant. Southampton and West Ham have recently exploited McGinn at the back post so rest assured that will be Burnleys primary tactic.

I don't see Elmo lasting 90 mins anyway so expect Guilbert will see game time. Elmo has a very good cross on him though, Watkins might benefit.

We just need Mings to be told what he's actually meant to be doing and where he's to supposed be when they have a corner or free kick.

He is deceptively very strong in the air. In fact Jamie Carragher referenced it a while back when we played Everton post lockdown + were using him as an aerial outball against Digne.

Always thought Elmo was pretty decent in the air and also a goos crosser of the ball. Freddy is faster butIwould opt for experience against the Burnley cloggers

I'd be amazed if Guilbert is in the starting XI on Thursday. Don't think Smith trusts him defensively, while you know Elmo won't let you down. He's got nowhere near the athleticism of Cash, but he'll be alright for a solid 7 out of 10.

Likely to have Elmo and Trezeguet linking up together on the right.

How long before we see a screamer from this fella? I bet he will go bonkers when it happens.
He’s excellent, such a terrier and can play out so well. We have at the moment two very good full backs.
