I generally skip to the football but will watch if they're talking about Villa and we've won (I only watch if we've won). When I have seen him he always comes across as pretty good at his job, able to talk knowledgeably without trying to take over the entire conversation. Plus he annoys bigoted twats by not being a bigoted twat. Good lad, IMO.

I’m no particular fan of most of his comments but if you think the BBC haven’t become obsessed with having a certain profile of presenter to fit narratives then I think that is wrong.
