Could be Troy Deeney.
Wrong on all counts!

It doesn’t really matter who does it. It’s a football highlights show.

Ha ha, correct.

The best MOTD was when they all went on strike and it was just football with no people talking over it all

Alex Scott would be horrific but does tick the BBC boxes

Oh, VT, you daft misogynist racist.

He's got a point though. There's a very good chance it will be her, and she is exceptionally shit. Not that I care, I only fast forward to the Villa bits when we win.

Spot on that. If we lose I don't watch it at all. When we win I skip straight forward to the Villa game. Very occassionly I might watch the highlights of maybe one or 2 other games at the most. is any at all.

I fucking love MOTD when we win. The theme music, Lineker, watching the other games with a relaxed POV. I even quite like Shearer.

Even if we lose, I’ll still probably watch it later in the week.

MOTD 2 even better, as often I’m at work and I can sit on the bog and watch it on my phone.

I see that that great football expert Roman Kemp (qualification: he's a huge Arsenal fan) is lined up for a role in presenting the programme because the producers want to...guess what...appeal to a younger audience

Jesus on a bus what *is* it with this obsession at the BBC with everyone trying to chase this same, younger audience. Is it just self-centred arrogant millennials wanting everything on their own terms, or is it more than that

Us old crusties are still here, you know,  and are far more likely to be a loyal audience...

We will die soon* and, although no meedja type will admit it, are probably baked in to the Beeb for the duration. If they didn't try to attract new audiences, we'd still be listening to Reith-approved double-barrelled plumbs asking the prime minister, sir, if he has any further words of wisdom for His Majesty's loyal subjects.

*Merry Christmas.

I'd rather have Micah Richards presenting it.

Yeah, I think big Meeks would be great. He's always generous at bringing in his fellow pundit for their opinion.
