So there's not much of a plan to change our midfield then.

We've got Kamara and Luiz on long term deals and McGinn is captain.

It's pronounced to rhyme with Quisling.
Didn't know that Quisling was "Popular" in English.

Surprised but pleased, if he asks to go at the end of the season we can get more money for him if the likes of Arsenal still want him.

Surprising news, but very welcome news, believe we've still to see the best of him.

Hurrah! One half of the best-looking football couple in the world commits to his villa on er, Love Island. Seriously, you should watch the Mr & Mrs segment that he and Alisha Lehmann did for Pravda recently. It would restore your faith in love across boundaries.

There was also some nice footage during the summer of them going back to his home place of Nova Holanda (which isn't the greatest area) and bringing supplies to the local residents.

Agreed really good example to set

A lot of them from humble beginings seem to do that type of stuff - Viera, Drogba, George Weah over the years.

I think McGinn will start to come under pressure.  Once Kamara is back I'd have thought him and Luiz will be fixtures in the team.  I hope so anyway.

I understand why we’ve done this and if we get a good fee for him great, however if he stays long term in our midfield we’re going nowhere, main reason being that he’s crap, maybe a better word is ordinary.

Plus Ramsey. He's the only ball-carrier with pace that we have and Gerrard seems to want to build things around him.
