I won’t lie. This pre Man City video of our newest Douglas created some movement in my loins

Thanks - mind made up - he's very good!

Likewise.

His technique of cleanly taking the ball off attackers is outrageous. If he manages that even once a game for us against quality opposition I'll be on my feet applauding.

Full name Douglas Luiz Soares de Paulo. Formerly of Vasco de Gama (I picked them as a team to follow when I went to see them against Fluminense about 12 years ago.

Now I can wear my Vasco shirt for two reasons...

Certainly an upgrade on Whelan and Jedi !!

Great shirts! Funnily enough I was just admiring them thinking, I'd love us to have a strong South American style diagonal stripe 2nd kit (despite the links to Palace and Man City over here).  Douglas Luiz looks some player!!! Hope it all goes through ok and he enjoys himself here.

Oh my goodness I think someone’s just spiked my drink. I’m hallucinating that I’ve just seen a video of a fecking brilliant Brazilian midfielder that we’ve just signed. Must have ingested some pretty strong shit...

Deep down I've always felt we were going to really struggle next season and all probability be in a relegation scrap.

I'm not one for getting carried away, but I'm now pretty confident we're going to win the league.

Indeed.  We won't be doing a Fulham, we'll be doing a Leicester.

The fella looks total quality .........if we sign him he could well be our best player, unless there are more to come :)

Who would have thought we would have not one but two Brazilians in our team

Can't wait for the season to start

This Brazilian kid doesn't look as comfortable on the ball as Jedi but that's probably down to that 'Kick and Rush' style they're so synonymous with. Good luck anyway fella.

Looks like he could easily play as an attacking midfielder if we're chasing a game.

Is he actually any good?
Oooh theres always one.
Haha it was worth asking - perhaps I should have put one of those winky things there.
Nah you're right mate, he could be the next Hourihane where no one really knows if he's good or crap.
