I absolutely don't want VAR scrapping. Everyone thought refs were bent before anyway and it was much worse than it is now. It will just lead to the "big" teams getting even more of the decisions. As mentioned, it is integral to our high line, it's just how we play. That would be all fucked. Unless this is separate to the new Semi-Automated Offsides?
The purpose and the role of offside in the rules of football was never such as to require decisions to be based on the width of a toenail. I'd scrap VAR tomorrow, if it were possible.

Anything tight just stick with the on field decision by the officials. I think the refereeing standard has dropped alarmingly since they've been able to rely on Stockley Park.
There should definitely be a time limit to make any reviewed decision.

I’m torn on this. If used correctly VAR should be a good thing. But it needs changing. They need to sort auto offside, inform the spectators in real time what they are looking at and explain decisions. I hate the fact that you can’t celebrate a goal properly anymore, but we’ll adapt as fans
BBC Source The Premier League’s figures show the number of correct decisions in matches has increased from 82% before VAR was introduced to 96% currently. With semi-automated offside technology due to be introduced early next season, it is felt that figure will increase even further.
