Isn’t the Arsenal player who did his ACL at the start of the season back in training as well now?

Yeah, heard Timber is back in training for them if it's the same fella.

I’m sure he’ll be pine after a few games.

My god, do we need him back. His aerial ability, pace and leadership are vital. It would be amazing to have him back in the team soon. Could be a major boost to the rest of our season.

Don't want him rushed back too soon.

If he were to be fit before then end of the season, are we able to register him for the league?

Not an ACL.  He fell in a lake.

Once he is fully back, it will be interesting competition between him and Pau Torres for that left side. Would have been interesting how this season would have been without our long-term injuries.

I can see all sorts of things happening when they are both fit, and Konsa too.

Yep. Replace Carlos and sort out the right back position, and we're set at the back.

Could be why there are rumours about Nacho

That should be a priority regardless of what else we do with the defensive positions.

He's 4th choice CB behind Mings, Torres and Konsa, I think he's perfectly adequate for that; as for RB, then yes, I'd rather we had a specialist than asking Konsa to play there.

It isn't that simple with CBs though. He's effectively second choice behind Konsa as a right sided CB. As Konsa has been used at RB quite a lot, that introduces more opportunities for Carlos to play. He's far from a lower pecking order player, he cost us 30m for a start!

Carlos has been very in and out this season. One good performance where he’s not looked at all troubled followed by ones where he’s looked all at sea. I suppose coming back from pretty much a whole season out has probably impacted more than we think but despite the miracles of modern medicine to still perform at the same levels in elite sport takes some doing and I think he struggles with that a bit. He’s doing ok but Konsa is our first choice RCB but he’s a more than adequate back up.

Well Unai seems to think he won’t be training until the end of the season so I think Mr Romano jumped the gun
