Fabulous news. To see him again this season is a massive bonus. To have some good  injury news is even bigger bonus

Is this ahead of schedule or in-line with his rehab?

Has to be ahead of schedule. Carlos was out for 12 months Mings has been out 7 so far. But Tottenham had Maddison out for a couple of weeks.

That's incredible. We've missed him as a voice on the pitch as much as a player. Well done Tyrone!

*It's been 6 months and 3 days since the Newcastle opening day disaster.

Great news, hopefully he's available for the latter stages of the Conference League.

To be back in training after 6 months is a bonus, but it will take him ages to be ready for a match won't it?

Got to be at least a couple of months to get back to match fitness?

Yeah i think so. He hasnt kicked a ball in such a long period his fitness will be lacking. We all seen how cautions the clubs been bringing back players. Id be suprised if he plays before April

It would be fitting if he returned to the starting 11 same time as Konsa.  It would be like getting the band back together.  We've missed Ty's contribution of late.

Not named in the euro squad was he?

Hells bells that’s good news - even if he’s a few weeks away that’s a huge boost.

Surely there’s no chance he plays this season? There’s initial training and then there’s getting out on the pitch in contact.

Would be great if he did get back before May though

I've been waiting to hear news of Mings and Buendia starting to get involved in training. Great news after the news we've had this week.

One website includes quotes from a US Doctor who specialises in those injuries. He reckons most athletes are playing again after 9 months but most reckon it is into the 12 months range / second season before they feel like they are fully recovered. So I think we could see him in the run in, however don't expect the same player in those matches.
