I hope he comes back as near as enough the player he was. In my opinion, along with McGinn, one of the most important players in Villas recovery.

Love Tyrone Mings.  Brilliant ambassador for the club, a role model for us all.

Who would bet against him coming back even stronger? I think he will struggle to get in front of Pau but the guy has a fantastic attitude and I really hope he is ready to go for next season, along with Emi.
What a season we’ve had without these two, imagine if they’d been available.

Although we might not have scored as many either from playing out from the back. Swings and roundabouts. Get a defender who can pass like Torres and defend with Mings desire and it would be the perfect player in that division.

I listened to the 'Quickly Kevin Will he Score?' podcast today, in December they did a long interview with Sir Brian Little, talking about his time as a player and manager (well worth a listen, btw), and he was talking about his retirement, effectively being due to an ACL, and how these days it's ultimately bad but recoverable, but in his time, it was a career-ender.

26 when he had to retire. What a player he was, I honestly think he's still my favourite Villa player ever (largely because i was a young kid when he was in his prime and used to hero worship him).

I think Keith Leonard was the same

What was Shaws injury and would that have been recoverable now?

I think it is right to see him on the front pages as i call it , of the main  service board.
He was invited up to the stage during the aways ceremony, and it was an unbelievable delight hearing him speak, and the supporters were all yelling for Tyrone Mings. Profanitys part of the chant!

He's such a great sports ambassador isn't he! He even reminded to mention Hause when Ginny was doing Captain's speech bout Ty , baby Jacob and himself as players that have been here since our climb from the Championship.

Ty is a class act. Stevie G ego was obviously very threatened by him disgrace how he treated him.
But the club value him highly as we know he's a true gem.

So there anyone in attendance who could provide us with additional information or insight? I wasn't there and only had the specifics from TyMings' on official website. Overall, it was great to have him speak on the very special occasion!

He seemed very coy on his return. Maybe he still a way off before he returns

I like to call it the 'Heroes Discussion' board because that is its name Brice.

He's been a big miss defending corners/set pieces.
