The only interesting thing about Souness is that he looked like Yosser Hughes.
😂👍I actually watched that episode last night.

Souness is a shitter, uglier, less funny Roy Keane. If he hadn't gone into football, he would've been a bailiff.

Great Post. As an aside, I spent an afternoon at Solihull Library in my late teens using some software that could 'help' identify career paths based on my input. The only option that came out after 3 runs was bailiff.

The unofficial leader was back, and with only a sliced clearance and a missed header, he was as solid as they come, and he certainly demonstrated character and resilience in his play yesterday.
I saw a determined defender who was dependable and focused on his role, as well as someone who continues to communicate and provide the thou shalt not pass attitude, as well as someone with excellent heading and blocking ability.
A good person, and it's great to see him seize his opportunity.
Considering Carlos's injury, he may have an extended run in the team now.

The amount of pressure and scrutiny Mings been under its admirable how well he's coped.

Not sure about flawless

You’re right, I just remembered the sliced clearance. He had a very good game though.
Yes flawless with his left foot . Slice was right footed so we can let him off as resultant corner was comfortably caught by Martinez

He was his usual self. Missed a header that nearly led to a goal for them, but aside from that he was either fine or making goal-saving, last-ditch interventions. Didn't hoof it quite as often as he normally does, either. Probably because Kamara provides a dependable option for the short ball.

Also no barnstormers or maurad up the field.
Maybe in part due to being ahead and never behind in match so didn't take upon himself to do so.

That sort of petty criticism (I mean Lukaku did murder him in both games, but shush) would irritate the life out of me and get me extra motivated.

How would you ‘pin’ stuff up on the dressing room wall these days?
iPad attached to locker door?

I was wondering. Maybe a rotating presentation of quotes from different people in the media of that week.

Can the Souness quote be boiled down to “I was interviewing a footballer and he relied”. If you don’t want to hear his opinion don’t ask questions!
What a twat.

Mings in reply to Souness : "What a weird article. That zoom call I was invited on was 2 years ago & he said nothing to me at the time, now wants to drag me into his pointless column. Btw, I’ve achieved plenty from where I started. happy to chat things through if you ever need me."

Great return Tyrone.
Considering its fair game to point out every error he makes we could analyse his incorrect use of sweatbands as he tends to use one more than the other.
Poor show I'd say.

Mings - Kouros
Gerrard- Drakkar Noir

Gerrard - Invictus Victory
Mings - Anything by Creed

The only question now is whether some Villa fans will persist with wearing Obsession.

That is a shock, an old white man, telling a young black man to know his place

Football, as ever, is a reflection on society

Souness is a cock

Souness is indeed a cock.  Mings was good yesterday - was a perfect response to being dropped.
