There's a video of the build up to the first incident on Twitter, and it looks very much like he puts a fair bit of effort into stamping on Zaha. A bit like the WBA sending off, you can see the effort he puts into his leg movement. Luckily for him and us it didn't connect.

Luckily for him and us it didn't connect.Zaha initiated it all before the ball was played when he gave Mings a massive shove up near the throat as he moved away from him. He should have kept his cool but unfortunately gave him exactly what he wanted but it was clearly a snidey premeditated tactic from Palace which makes stuffing them with 10 men even better.
The most embarrassing thing was Mings positioning before he fouled Zaha for the second yellow. He shaped to make him go out towards the touchline line but got it totally wrong and ended up in a mess.
How come VAR does not pick this up.https://twitter.com/i/status/1343115819891486720

Same for that chance in the first minute. He tries to over compensate by being smart and trying a trick or flick on his left.

I've said it before with Tyrone too, but sometimes he goes for the awkward body position (as you say, often using his left side because he won't use his right). He stretches uncomfortably, or dives in on an awkward position. Apart from increasing the chances of him fouling someone or missing a challenge and being left for dead, it also puts my heart in mouth, that he'll do himself a mischief. He's had injuries before and serious ones, and really needs to do something about his body positioning sometimes, and start working on being able to use his right foot to tackle.
