Have we hung, drawn and quartered him yet?

No need to, he's just taking another break from the site.

A bit cruel, I thought. If it weren't for Footy and Flintstone, H&V would be GroupThink.

I bet you McGinn is attending a seminar on Odyssean déconstruction in Finnegan's Wake.

God knows what he'd have made of Carew.

Probably something like ‘we once had a Norwegian striker called John Carew’.

I bet you McGinn is attending a seminar on Odyssean déconstruction in Finnegan's Wake.

In fact, he is attending Strange Atmospheres, The Seventh International Flann O’Brien Conference.

"The conference title, ‘Strange Atmospheres,’ foregrounds a concept that sits uneasily on the semantic boundary between environment, embodied space, and mood. Often bending to the fantastic, the uncanny, the fake and unconvincing, O’Brien’s style is itself characterised by a constant apprehension of the ways in which the atmospheric and the literary fertilise each other. The symposium will provide the occasion to reflect more fully on these aspects of his work."

I believe Super John is presenting a paper on "At Swim Two Birds".

Fair play, so.

Not fit enough.
Tomorrow at home to Leicester and as I expect many would have suspected McGinn won't be in the starting 11.
Emery has already announced this in his press conference -which is telling.

Digne is fit now too. If he’s not playing tomorrow, what is ‘telling’ about that?

2 things which were notable regards McGinn and Digne on team news in the available to view presser:

1. "John McGinn is not first in my mind for starting eleven" direct quote Emery

2. When asked Emery had to actually be prompted to even be reminded about Digne and his availability . As he clearly seen to have not really paid much thought to him
If you see the presser you can see him hesitate pause and goo hmmm say  who ? Ahh Digne..and making hand gestures of do I even care about this player though.
So yeah very telling

I  can only presume the reason why he's not starting tomorrow is because he's been out injured and throwing him back in unnecessarily wouldnt be wise. Pretty simple really.

He must have been to Harare, one of my Zimbabwean friend's surname is Dube which isn't uncommon there.

Ramsey is back fit now though wasn't Ginny just a place holder?
And is he displacing Luiz or Kamara?
Because starting wise where does he fit in now?
