He’s not good enough for where we are going. He’s a trier which is all well and good but technically dreadful.
Thank you TV. Good to know you know whats required

He'll have two years left on his deal in the summer so really it's the optimum time to sell.

Would be amazed if he's still here in 12 months and we know by now his time as automatic starter finished as soon as Gerrard was sent packing.

He just looks completely shot. Hopefully, this six weeks may just give him his confidence back. He would still be an excellent squad player if played to his strengths.

We've just got a new manager, a 3-1 win, McGinn came on and did a job and we're here devoting loads of time to sys how shit he is? Fuck me.

Well, quite.

And now. Can you see what many can see. Didn't particularly aid the cause as a starter or as captain versus Man Utd
Tielemans or Neves wins games and impacts them.
McGinns best achievement was not getting booked today.
Awful tragic and saw how lost he looked on the pitch as well as complete lack of stamina.

He's certainly not a captain
Young who is nearly 10 years old and puts him to shame and as club captain should be having armband over McGinn whenever on the pitch.

Back on the bench sunday McGinn

It doesn't really change the point Drummond made on Sunday, in that game he came on and did a job to help us beat them at home for the first time in 27 years, it was a truly bizarre time to give him shit.

Today he was shit, gave possession away too cheaply and looked miles off the pace. Tonight's criticism is perfectly reasonable.

But it's the same people giving him the same shit. It's as if they can't help themselves and they accuse Footy of doing the same thing (which he does). No, he's not been his best and tonight, I forgot he was even on the pitch. He's been fantastic for us though. If he gets it back, great. If he dosent, then, thanks and goodbye.

It’s also perfectly reasonable to say he’s been shit for 90% of this season and more often than not since lock down.

I’ve been a big fan of his, but tonight he looked way off. Appeared to be running in a swimming pool at times, so slow. He’s definitely for the broth pot next summer I would imagine.

He was great for us in the Championship. Personally, I think that's his level.

Same here. I feel uncomfortable watching him nowadays. Unprofessional performance after unprofessional performance.

Looks out of shape.

I don't see much point getting into a shit throwing contest of how long he's been poor for. We all know he's had a terrible season so far and looks like the captaincy has completely hobbled him. He won't start on Sunday so lets see what happens with a long break and a chance fo emery to address his problems.

For me I don't think he's anything like as bad a player as some suggest but I also struggle to see where he fits under Emery other than as a sub to do a very specific job.

And there were rumours of 50 million bids from Man Utd last Summer. Be lucky to get half that now.

His metabolism and a lack of confidence have caught up with him.

£25m?! Not a chance.

When was the last time he was fantastic for us?

We’ve been waiting for him to perform for a long, long time, and people are saying we should be doing exactly what you say in your last sentence.

He's a good Championship midfielder. Thanks Meatball, but if were going to move upwards he needs selling. Not even a top 10 squad player.

Was surprised he wasn't hooked as he did look as if he was breathing through his arse in the last 15 minutes.
