Amazing what happens when you play somebody in their best position eh? He is not, never was, and won't ever be a defensive midfielder.

By the way, what is his googly-eyed goal celebration all about ? He'd make a good Robin in a cape as he charges over to the Villa fans to celebrate.

On another club's forum his running style was described as being to similar to someone exiting a helicopter which made me smile.

Most papers this morning saying ragnick wants mcginn and will pay 50m.

Up it by another 30m then we will consider it. 50m is a derisory offer. If pogba is worth 100m+ then mcginns 80m+

I very much doubt McGinn has a release clause in his contract so I'd be telling Man Utd to foxtrot oscar.

McGinn is better than Pogba. 100% serious. I wouldn't take Pogba for free.

And could see this coming, this is partly why I couldn't understand why many were so willing to accept the Joe transfer and the idea of our players leaving in general. We'll never get anywhere if it continues.

That's the headline but when you read the articles it's not him but apparently Ferguson  however SAF has not met Rangnick yet and has no idea what he wants.
But it's obvious speculation based on who is the best player in the division not in the top 3 teams and it's John without a doubt.

Yup.  Said a while back that he'll be the next one of our players to come under this scrutiny, especially if he keeps this form up.

Why do we bother? I am sick of this. I thought the new owners meant the end of this?

I thought he was younger than 27.  I would imagine he'd be more than willing to go to Man Utd if they are indeed about to try and sign him.  Grealish leaving puts the sword though any player being 'loyal' if they get a pay rise / the chance to win stuff.

it's just the football food chain - we don't get sick of it when we're taking Watkins and Konsa off Brentford, Buendia off Norwich and Cash off Forest etc
