What was he booked for?

He’s goal scoring for Scotland is around 1 in 4, compared to 1 in 10 for us. That is something I’d like to see improvement in

Quite. I can't be arsed about his scoring for Scotland but would love to see him scoring more for us.

Unfortunately we don't play many games against teams of the quality of San Marino and the Faroes.

That's where Albion used to come in handy.

I'd like to see all of our players score more goals for us. However, I don't think it's necessarily something upon which we should be measuring McGinn.

We could do with more goals from the midfielders. None of them score enough.

Possibly because we have tended to use our midfielders as defensive midfield to cover for the attacking intent of the likes of El Ghazi, Traore and The Scab That Can't Be Named. If you count wingers as midfielders then our goals from midfield will probably stand up reasonably well against most teams.

I did think we would have got more Luiz goals by now, though, after he scored a couple of screamers within his first half a dozen or so games.

I agree, though I don't think it's necessarily what they as individuals should be measured on? It's on Smith and the coaches and system (unless they are missing a lots of chances).

Clattered a player. Middle of the park.
Because he does that sometimes.

And agree has the ability to score goals.
In the Championship he was outstanding for a goal threat . All seemingly though only scored 5 or 6 in our promotion

I remember in first ever prem game he took his goal vs Spurs superbly and thought he would be getting 10 goals as he took to the Prem very well initially before getting injured.

A random thought popped into my head  earlier while strolling round Edinburgh and in no way is it a criticism of him, but has he ever scored for us and been on the winning side in the same game since we were promoted? Off the top of my head I can only think of his goals coming in defeats too Wolves, Watford, Palace, Spurs and a draw with Burnley. Im sure theres probably obvious ones Ive missed.

Even his thunderbolt against Sheff Wed came in a defeat.
