Quick Scottish sass there and no mistake. I wonder did it cause Dyche to ponder his coat.

Further evidence for the Football Ramble being one of the best things in football broadcasting.

‘You big prick’.

I didn’t think I could love SJM any more.

I went to the final day of the Edgbaston test in the last Ashes. Siddle spent most of the day at the Birmingham End and there was some good natured back and forth. I gave him some stick about having his collar up and how we don't do that in England. He spent the next 10 minutes going to adjust it and then stopping himself. Was pretty satisfying, but he had the last laugh when he turned and gave it ten once we'd been skittled for sod all.

That bit did for me!  The shit coat comment was funny enough, but that was just the icing on the cake.

Is there a pitch-side mic anywhere that picked that up? I'd LOVE to hear it!

Dyche has had a fair bit of player back-chat in the last week or two:

Quote
At one stage, Burnley manager Sean Dyche could be heard roaring at Robbie Brady to pay attention to Hudson-Odoi’s runs, to which the Irishman had a very honest response.

“Tune in!” Dyche ordered, according to The Athletic’s Chelsea correspondent Liam Twomey.

“I know where he f**king is, I just can’t stop him,” Brady responded. “What do you want me to do?!"

His best game for us of late in my opinion was away at Chelsea which was our 2nd game in 3 days. Since then he’s hasn’t been the SJM which I dearly want him to be.

Looks well off the pace. Gave the ball away a lot. Not sure this role suits him.

Love him but he was very disappointing tonight.  Constantly gave the ball away and lost that drive he normally has.  Get better SJM.

I’d rest him - Morgan showed plenty in his cameo.
