Much involved tonight, one of his better games. Really is he strong in the man to man fights, some muscles on those legs and some low gravity center. Some excelent passes and shot too with his left, his leftfooted?   Does seem to be alongside Luiz somtimes as we then play with two defensive mids? The team was set up like this before the match on the telly anyway. Can be his best position.

Him and Luiz seemed to have it worked out really well who was going to break forward, and who was going to sit.

I think he needs to lose some weight.

Unlikely to lose weight with a fat new contract to go with his fat arse. Bugger off back to St Mirren!*

Just needs to add consistency to his game.  At his best he's excellent and can really have an affect on a game.  At his worst, he's bloody useless.

Great that we’ve tied him down to a new contract, hope he quickly gets back to the form to deserve it.

Lange doesn't look very happy (assuming it is Lange).

No he hasn’t. There’s been glimpses but he’s not the SJM of old. Hopefully he’ll get it back.

I think that's true, by and large, but he has shown the old him in patches.
