Needs to go carefully as he's got an inevitable suspension coming up one booking away now having 4 cards. The one against Wolves was poor from Mike Dean .
SjM has played every minute this season he'll need a rest at some point be it the suspension ? Or just a rest.

If Barkley's back, might as well get the suspension and rest done at the same time. A few studs down the back of Ben Mee's leg should do the trick.

From two years ago, but I'd imagine it's the same.

"Any player earning five bookings from his side's first 19 Premier League matches will have to serve a one-match ban in the same competition. Players who accumulate 10 yellow cards in Premier League matches up to and including their sides' 32nd fixture will serve a two-match suspension in the competition."

The thing with this is we've got 1 player already out after 10 games and 2 more just 1 booking away but we're not a dirty team and I can't think of many bad challenges we've put in this season. Too many refs are just far too quick to reach for a card for tiny offences right now.

I thought he started a bit slowly and was sloppy in possession a couple of times but he really upped it second half and was back to his usual self.

Thought he was very impressive in the first half. Less so in the second, left too much of the playmaking to Luiz I thought but maybe was under instruction to push further forward. Really should have buried that header. Needs to work on his shooting from distance, it's gone to pot recently. Our midfield will have much tougher games but it was impressive the complete domination Luiz/McGinn had when it was 11v11.

The man is infectious, and not in a Covid way.
