It's great that John has so much energy and enthusiasm that he wants to bomb about in the first minutes of a game, but in the PL if you take that approach you are going to be blowing out your arse after 60 minutes.
Why was John though bombing from right to left to put a tackle in on a right back on the touchline by the dugout at that stage in the game? The ball was going nowhere anyway! He had to pass Wesley to do so, so why didn't he chase the right back down? As we didn't have the ball why wasn't Jack closing the right back down? If John felt he had to do what he did because others aren't doing their jobs, then Deano needs to f-cking sort that out even if it's the captain getting a rollicking! As it is we are probs going to be without McGinn for a while.

Because he was pissed off after being fouled and the ref didn’t give it. Passion was substituted from the team at that point.

From your mate, Vinnie?

Not from my usual. Done his ankle. 4 months ish he reckons

That's not too bad. Might come back for final few games.

To spin it means we're more likely to keep hold of him whatever division we're in.

He wont wnat to play in the chmapionship. If we go down he will leave whether he is injured or not.

According to the club or someone's comment on Twitter?

Fracture out until April and club to potentially look at that position in January window

Merry Christmas.

I realise fracturing his ankle has very little to do with his other injury.
However, players who are playing on with the help of injections always seem to get badly crocked.

I knew we'd lose McGinn, Mings or Grealish long term. So bloody unlucky.

Fuck. Time for the owners to dig deep in January. Both Luiz and Nakamba haven’t shown they are good enough at this level, and our midfield has pretty much struggled all season even with SJM and Jack. We needed to sign one midfielder anyway so this injury news confirms that we need two...plus another centre back, centre forward and a winger. We’re as good as down if we don’t strengthen properly in these areas.

Whilst the injury is nothing to do with the one he was carrying, I feel his condition has been very badly handled and he really shouldn’t have been on the field to pick up this up.
