We should buy the Belfry.

I think it went for not much more than £100m last time it was sold. Imagine the hospitality you could put on around a game!
It's a great idea, actually.

We'd need plenty of drivers to get players from A to B, but the handicap may mean some distraction away from the club.

The amount they've spent on the hotel refurb etc, I'm not sure it's massively profitable at the moment.

Word was that when they opened the Bull Ring shop, they weren’t interested in profit, just revenue.

Liverpool use Aintree Racecourse for hospitality on Champions League nights.

Yes, I was aware they used it. Is it only for CL? I suppose Edgbaston and the Belfry might be similar options for us assuming demand is there.

I have more.  ;)

Go on.

For CD more than me. I know he loves this shit.
Don’t provoke him, when it comes to puns he’s got nerves of iron.

Best we all stay in our bunkers!  ;)

I believe so yes. £750 packages, so not cheap but cheaper than our Aston package.

PTV bit this morning on the removal of Westwood Park from the BCC business plan and promotion of housing development is interesting, where Lerner got planning permission for houses. It would solve the Witron Lane issue.

Golf in the morning, a three course meal, coach to and from a CL match, then back to the belfry to stay in the hotel.  Corporates would eat that up.  The hotel - assuming there is one - means the catchment extends beyond the midlands too.

Same. I find anything to do with the strategy of the club absolutely fascinating, which makes his posts compelling.

Sounds great. The hotel is about 350 rooms I think. 5 restaurants as well.
