That's standard YouTube shit, but yes it's tremendously annoying all round.

Debt doesn't make a positive difference to PSR, it just makes things worse, as obviously there will be interest to pay on the loans, which is an expense that reduces profit.

That's what I thought. Still, what's the deal with the Brighton chairman pumping interest free money in?

Interest free shareholder loans used to be OK. Now they're not, because Man City successfully argued (and in this one matter, I agree with them) that if all sponsorship deals with related parties should be at a market value, then so should loans, ie they have to have a realistic rate of interest applied.

Is that the answer then? That if there is now no longer any advantage in using your own money to pump in, you might as well use someone elses?

He doesn’t strike me as knowing what he’s on about. Unlike Risso, and that financial bloke who works for Reach. Dave Powell I think his name is.

So £50m goes in from Atairos, who are the investment arm of Comcast, who are putting their US Cable TV into a separate company- perhaps for sale?

Another £50m had gone in from Goldmam Sachs financing through Kroll.

On top of the board of NWSE adding multiple new faces, who carry exprience in Project Management, building sports facilities etc.

Nothing to see here.

I like his show and find his match analysis pretty good tbf. Not sure how clued up he is with PSR. Maybe one for him to sit out. Seems like a good bloke though does Pete.

Also, I learn from twirra that Nassef has moved his office to Abu Dhabi, and Fortress is now a subsidiary of an Abu Dhabi investment arm.

I like Pete. I appreciate all the people who make Villa content these days*, the democratisation of content creation has changed things so much. Pete, Conan and Liam on The Villa Podcast, Max Stokes, they're all basically doing what Woodhall did 30 years plus ago, just in a world which has changed significantly.

* except that snidey fucker off MOMS. He can get in the bin.

Agree, and as someone unable to go, Villa on tour gives you a feel for being there.

Yeah, I used to love doing plenty of aways years and years ago. I can't really justify doing it these days, so I do so vicariously through the likes of VillaOnTour.

Max is a good lad and not an absolute window licker like some of the brain donors who do that sort of thing. Simon who does it with him is fantastic when he’s had a few too many sherbets. As you both say fantastic vicarious content.
