I love this photo, he's already off celebrating while the whole of the crowd are still waiting for the realisation to set in.

Making him captain for his last game was a nice touch.

I've an awful lot of time for him and hope he does really well.

Unless we are bringing in another Midfielder this is ridiculous.  Saturday proved that this season injuries and covid could easily wipe a few players out and Connor is great for the Bench . Absolutely mind-boggling what's going on down there .
Nope. Connor's playing days for us in the Prem have gone.
Get over it.
Yeah correct. Players have their times at clubs and we remember them fondly for it. That’s Connor for me. He came and did a fabulous job when and where it was needed. That “legend” (for want of a better word) wanes very quickly if they stay beyond that time. Good luck to him in the future

Totally agree Drummond. It was a nice touch and I also have lots of time for him and wish him well.

What’s amazing is the ball has hit the net and most of us in that picture haven’t even started celebrating. Great picture…

Great for us in the Championship and showed how well he can cope in the PL.
Those goals against the baggies and That Lot will live long in the memory.
All the best Conor!

I am as close as a 51 year old bloke can be to shedding a tear.  Not that I thought he could stay and play regularly but he is synonymous with that whole mini era of getting us back on our feet after years of struggle and toil and made us all feel good again.  Like others, the Albion equaliser was a thing of absolute beauty but its importance cannot be underestimated in terms of what happened next.

Devastated to see a player who genuinely loved the Football Club leave

This window has been a real let down

Great professional & a genuine influence on getting us back up & keeping us there.

Hopefully he’ll smash another few past Small Heath over the next few seasons.
