I’ve always liked Conor and would have had no problem with him staying but I guess his game time would be very limited and he wants to play. Good Luck Conor!

Unless we are bringing in another Midfielder this is ridiculous.  Saturday proved that this season injuries and covid could easily wipe a few players out and Connor is great for the Bench . Absolutely mind-boggling what's going on down there .

Nope. Connor's playing days for us in the Prem have gone.
Get over it.

I'd rather have had him on the pitch on Saturday that Young, playing in that position.

Hourihane in 2017 was one of very few villa signings that actually worked out! What a great servant he has been, a key element in our journey back.

Are you at the point of stopping your support for the Villa yet? Burning your season ticket?

~Good Luck

All those involved in getting us out of the Chumpionship that season deserve a degree of huge thanks. Not many left but that in itself isn't such a bad thing as many better players have arrived.

Should get Purslow to drop you a line to un-boggle things, I'm sure you'd sort it out.

If I could give him a message it would be:
All the very best Conor; thanks so much for everything you’ve done for the Villa and good luck at Sheffield United, they’re very lucky to get you.
I wish you were staying, I think we might need you!

Top man, top pro, top beard, top left foot and top rage when Leeds did the dirty and scored that goal. Wish him nothing but the best this season.

That worldly against the Throstles will live long in the memory, good luck Conor.

Just to reflect on that strike, one that is pivotal I believe in our recent history. We were up in the North Stand, right behind it, and I don't recall many other times in nearly 40 years of watching us when I felt a serenity that a ball a long way from goal was going to end up there, but it was weird, like it was completely destined to follow that trajectory.

Better £ for £ signing in the last 20 years?

Even last season when he started the first 2/3 games he was creative. I know he had many shortcomings but I was surprised we never tried him at 10 with that left foot. Fab servant, scored some incredible goals, and I hope he does really well at Sheffield United.
