the next 2 transfer windows are about buying to stay in the championship, no more. We are a million miles away from promotion, one win in six months proves that.

Unfortunatley I agree with this. The malaise is so deep rooted its just not going to turn around unless the team changes. Jedenak is a great shout.

The one thing you need to be in the Championship is battle hardened. We're about as battled hardened as a blamange.

I think I would play

thats easily the best team we can paly at the moment - the rest are shit

Expect my transfer request imminently, at this stage of my career I need first team football.

Oh, and I predict a very nervy 2.1 win which is celebrated wildly...until we remember we were playing Rotherham.

5-0 home win.  The beginning of our undefeated home run that'll last the whole season.

I'm not going to get to downbeat just yet despite last night. I'm taking 'confidence' from the fact that we look half decent against Sheff Wed and even looked of last night until the ridiculous decision to put MR centre back.

We need to tighten midfield so I'd like up as follows:
                                            Gollini
    Hutton           Elphick                         Baker          Avami

                 Bacuna                Westwood           Tishbola

                                            Grealish

                            Ayew                     McCormack

I'm sure this would be enough to take the points

This is the formation I would like to see. We need those 3 in midfield to protect the defense and stop teams dominating us. I would have like to see Gil in behind the two but there you go...

This is where we turn it around. Well, as long as we drop most of the current team and buy at least six new players before Saturday.

I'd go with

                            Gollini

Hutton       Ephick          Chester        Cissokho

Adama         New Midfielder   Tsibola      Amavi

                  McCormack   Ayew

Don't know if Adama is fit, but I hope we have Chester and a midfielder in by the weekend. I am done watching us fanny around using fullbacks for width, I just want them to stay in their own half and defend. We can use wingers for width, though we only really have Adama on the right. I'd like top see Amavi tried at left wing, he is a bloody awful defender but might make a half decent wide player.

I'd also like to see if Ayew and McCormack can form a partnership.

I could hazard a guess.

I'd rather play with 9 men than have Hutton and Cissohko playing.
