I'd go:

Gollini

Hutton
Elphick
Baker
Amavi

Tish
Westwood

Bacuna (I'm not happy to play he or Westy from the start particularly, but it says it all that we actually looked worse without them last night).
Ayew
Grealish

McCormack.

Subs- Bunn, Toner, Green, Lyden (is he available??), RHM, Gestede, Traore.

I'd occasionally alternate RM and Ayew as the main man up top or in behind.
With those full-backs it's important to come out strong and keep on the front foot. We need to impose ourselves on the game.

I'd go with that. Win the battle in midfield and let the quality tell.

I really don't think McCormack can play the 9 role. Not sure about ayew there either. We need another

Wow, what a choice that is!! I'd rather have Fernando Nelson back.

We do need another, but I can't see us bringing in anyone before the final week of the window. We need to prioritise midfield and defence first.

                                                                                 Gollini

                              Chester                                        Elphick                                           Toner

Lyden                                                                         Tshibola                                                                              Amavi

                               Green                                          Grealish                                           Ayew

                                                                                   McCormack

5 Subs
Bunn
Hutton
Cowans
Westwood
Gestede

Villa HAVE to win these next two home games however unlikely that seems.

Three League games played and six points accrued. An average of two points per match.

We're starting to compete at last.

That line up looks a bit dodgy. Playing one midfielder is not the best idea in the world.

Who's your 6? Ayew and Green are not midfielders and neither is Amavi.

I'd rather you name your 6 midfielders. Besides, I haven't given a team i'd pick much thought.
