Loan him back to Blackburn and get them to pay his wages.  Then make the move permanent at the end of the season.  He was at least doing something at that club.

I can accept that he's shit, but he couldn't have looked less interested today. Plenty of shit players get away with it to an extent due to their endeavour and willingness to try.

Any suggestion except professional footballer is fair game. Such a limited footballer. We would have to change everything about the way we play just to accommodate him and even then I doubt he's salvageable. A bit part squad player that comes off the bench like at Newcastle is as far as it should go with him. What on earth did our scouts see when we wasn't scoring with his head? Literally everything else about his play is shocking
