Roy Keane can get to fuck.

Richards and him did a video recently in the style of carpool karaoke but thankfully without the singing. Just talking instead. Keane said he didn't regret anything he'd ever done on a football pitch at which point Richards bright up the Haaland incident and Keane said, "no, not that either".

He also admitted that he went out on the pitch intending to hurt players, before slightly correcting himself by saying he didn't go out to injure them.

The guy's a scumbag.

The first few games he played, I thought he was great but then he went to shit. To think we've had players like that and poor old Bacuna said his ambition was to play in the Champions League and he got slaughtered. Some fans are just weird.

Nothing wrong with that generally, as a centre-half I went out to hurt players in every game. Big difference between that and trying to injure someone seriously. I believe that what's Keane did with Haaland which was when he overstepped the mark.

'Laughter yoga'? I know it's been a while since I was over (2013) but clearly Erin has changed.

Yes, we've been missing the 'craic' since the pubs shut for lockdown.

I was just browsing the Facebook page of my favourite pub in Sneem. Things look desperate down there since the busloads of morbidly obese Americans stopped showing up.

Punditry is clearly a closed shop but whereas Roy Keane, Shearer, Ferdinand and even Wright, no matter how moronic he comes across, you take them at their word, because they were players who produced at the highest level. Don't know what Danny Murphy's problem has been with Villa over the years, and Richards is just an imbecile who I suspect is now being found out. Alex Scott is the best of them all and is probably on half of what Richards is being paid.

Emma Hayes has decent  tactical analysis but sadly has the most dreary unlistenable voice.

Let's not forget his inept performance at Luton where his performance never reached the heights of a "spaniel chasing a balloon". As a useless pundit however Jenas is hot on his heels, whose constant whittering almost ruined last nights game. He felt that every second had to be filled with his constant inane comments.

Jermaine Jenas is the worst pundit/co-commentator ever.  "It's time to put some respect on Raheem Sterling's name." Oh shut up you colossal twat.

I hope not, she earned 600k in 2019 and I imagine it's only gone up with increased appearances as a pundit and her stint on The One Show.

Not familiar with it, I've only been to Kerry once and didn't make it to Killarney or Sneem.

I think the thing the worst pundits have in common is lack of command of language.  Jenas is a typical case in point.  Richards does not even get to the starting line his gabbling buffoonery is so full on.  What they do is assemble a swatch of cliches that they can cobble together as though the contemporaneousness of their utterances makes them insightful.  It does not.  It simply proves that "sick as a parrot" and "over the moon" are the well from which they draw their inspiration.  I like Lee Hendrie as a pundit because he is so devoid of pretence.
