It's not too impressive that they're struggling to shift 25,000 tickets.

I reckon if they'd given us the 25k and them the 2.5k, we'd sell them.

We had over 20k there when we played Wrexham in a League Cup 2nd replay in 1971.

Fond memories of that game v Wrexham - 4-3 if i remember correctly Andy Lochhead a couple a Willie Anderson pen and an o.g - crowd 20697 (I looked the crowd up my memory ain't that good)

The difference between Villa and any of our Midland rivals (?) is simple. When we are in the Doldrums it means loitering around the bottom half of the top division. When the pretenders are doing shite they are playing Crewe, Doncaster et al in divisions that don't concern us. Well done Baggies, you've picked up some quality loan acquisitions and surpassed yourselves - for a bit. Monday's result? Christ knows.

From a club who couldn't afford a loan fee for Lukaku.

We could.

We just chose not too.

You seem a decent enough type, Liam (as does that Dixie chap) but, really?

"That really good striker, the one who scored 17 goals for you last season, was your top scorer and best player, do you want to borrow him again?"

"Nah, we've had a think about it, and we're going to sign Nicolas Anelka from FC Dim Sum instead."

Everton run a tighter wages policy than an iphone factory in China, so it takes something to be outbid by them.

I know you lot am a bit dim, so I'll type this slowly for ya ;)
The "we know what we are" chant is just a bit of a two fingered salute to our two esteemed neighbours, your mob and the Scruffs on the border.
Both, in my opinion, 'bigger'  clubs, regarding gates and in your case, honours. Not massively btw.
So, most albayun fans know we are batting way above our station, and were just enjoying it while it lasts, is that ok?
We're not city, were a well run provincial club, and we love our club the same way you do, so if it looks to you like we're delusional by claiming to be pride of the midlands, were not, we're just taking the piss cos were doing marginally better than you.
 So there it is.
Any questions?

You really do want it both ways don't you? "We're only a little club, we're doing ever so well", then 20  trophies isn't massively better than seven.

Us not being massively bigger than Sandwell FC wins the internet as the funniest comment ever posted online.

Love Lambert's comments, he really doesn't give a shit about them either. Three points is all that matters.

Thank you very much for clearing that up. Wouldn't a far more succinct, accurate and culturally significant chant be: 'We know what we aren't?'

I wouldn't have Wolves down as bigger than WBA.  I'm especially surprised Baggies think that way.

Yes, a club that has won more trophies than all the other clubs in the Weat Midlands combined is only marginally bigger than 1 trophy in 45 years West Brom.
