I have read this with interest and could come up with a suitable riposte. It isnt worth it of course.

I may over the weekend but, for now, will leave with a simple "Ah Bless".

After reading some of that I'm more grateful than ever to be a Villa fan.

I have never been compelled to go on another clubs fan forum ( if that is the correct terminology for what H & V is) and attempt to wind people up.
Maybe that is because I'm not obsessed with thinking we are better than another club, maybe it's because I'm just lazy.
We will smash the tosspots.

Do we really have to suffer these Stripey Filth cretins on our site?

I like it. Come on, it is not a real derby but we can do out best to big it up.

Even those with a mental age of deserve an opinion.

I don't think Albion fans booed Jeff Astle and then pretended to love him once he got poorly?

Your most famous supporter made a laughing stock of Jeff Astle while he was suffering from a degenerative disease.

That was incredibly classy, I thought.

On the subject of celebrity supporters, and gleefully descending to level of the bitters' bants displayed in this thread, here is Stewart Lee on that oaf Chiles:

I love the banter between us two, it's done without the hate of you v blues or WBA v wolves.
I'd like to say, even associating Stan's illness with any fans behavior is abhorrent. The Albion fan who attempted it earlier brings shame on all Albion fans, we are honest and fair, (and prone to the odd whine)
And I'd like to think, we're thought of as fair, I apologise for that fan earlier, and I hope for a cracker at HQ on Monday, sorry for interrupting your forum, but I felt compelled to apologise, we all have a minority of morons.
Anyhoo, 2-2 again but I hope for 2-0
Peace

Fair do's. Thanks for posting this.

Appreciated, and all clubs have morons so you're not unique there.
Why Dixie Deane by the way?  Have I missed something, but I associate that name with Everton not WBA?

There is no way we should lose this game. No way on Earth.

Having said that, the thought of them turning us over is too much for me to comprehend. I loathe how much better than us they have become over the last couple of years. I remember the days when this was the big midlands derby. Small Heath and Wolves were miniscule, and this was the big 'un. For so many years I laughed at how they went to the shit tip in the doldrums of lower league football, whilst we sat pretty in the top flight. I mean come on, we've been in the Premier League since its conception. Where were they in the league?

If we attack early and then sit back and stay tight, we should be able to seal the win, m'lord. But I do fear their attacking prowess. That Berahino chap is the new Defoe. Sessegnon is a worldy of a player. That chap who scored at Old Trafford is a ridiculously good winger.

This won't be easy chaps. Be afraid. VERY afraid.

Their posts are getting more and more subtle, this one really is cunning, it took me days to work it out...

When one of their own (or is he another of the borrowed, I can't be arsed to keep up) knows who they are, nothing more needs to be said.

I see Mulumbu has said playing us is like playing in the European Cup.

Ay, we know what they are alright.

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/west-bromwich-albion-fc/2013/11/18/west-broms-youssouf-mulumbu-stokes-up-derby-heat/

The second someone compares a league game to "their cup final" or similar, you have all the evidence you need that they're a bunch of a paranoid no marks, with an inferiority complex the size of the Milky Way and can only claim to be well balanced because of an equal number of chips on both shoulders.

We know what they are, they know what they are, the whole fucking universe knows what they are.  Jealous.

See also Small Heath, Coventry, Wolves.

Of course being a gobby sort I couldn't help myself.:-D

Honourable exceptions for Liam and dixiedean, and any other sensible types. But for those that represent the majority of them I grew up with in Smethwick in the 70s, the above definitely applies.

Lol
