Pretty much everything about that club and it's fans is cringeworthy in the extreme.

Can somebody help me with something, please? A couple of times now I've heard this 'we know what we are' bollocks, but apart from it being the worst chant in the history of organised sport, what on earth does it mean?

Are these slack-jawed, drool-spattered Albion simpletons saying:

We know we're a small team from a two-donkey post-industrial backwater, somewhere in Sandwell?

We know we're descended from illiterate pig-farmers who failed to master the art of standing upright?

We know we're not the brightest buttons on the blazer, but wim 'appy?

Just what is it that they all appear to know they are? Can anybody enlighten me?

I've always assumed it was 'jealous of the Villa', in which case we know what they are as well.

I have no natural dislike for WBA my only "real" dislike is with the scum up the road. So I cannot take WBA fans serious enough to respond. With only one manager this century who have beaten us, I just see this as another game I want us to win regardless. Ye its a "derby" but three points will shut them up for another few years. 0-2 Bacuna-Weimann Game over !!!

Anybody know how many tickets we were allocated/have sold?

2,450 allocated and sold. 150 down on last season for persistent standing.

Is Stewart Lee a Villan? Good stuff, the cantankerous, odd legend.

I don't think he likes football. He mentioned somewhere that he felt alienated in his youth living in Solihull because, unlike his peers, he had no wish to beat up Aston Villa fans, or words to that effect.

and to be fair you don't have to be a villa fan to think that Chiles is a wanker.

It's not too impressive that they're struggling to shift 25,000 tickets.

I reckon if they'd given us the 25k and them the 2.5k, we'd sell them.
