Apart from maybe Yorke was there anyone ever as skilful and powerful than Dalian in his heyday? He really was majestic.

He really was majestic. We shouldn't forget that we were gutted when Dalian got injured during the run in of the '92/'93 season and we had to 'settle' for the untried Yorke in his place. I would say it was around '95 when Yorke progressed to being the real deal.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2021/feb/25/aldridge-richardson-and-atkinson-at-real-sociedad-goals-class-red-ferrariArticle about Dalian's time in Spain here. Bit about Rico as well
It's not a surprise if Villa fans want to express their thoughts if they've read the publicly available reporting of the circumstances of Dalian's death today. I've read The Guardian's reporting. Maybe when the verdicts are in?

Dave has asked that people stick to facts, and the thread in the main forum is locked. My very basic legal understanding is that discussing the facts of a case is OK, but giving any opinion on whether people involved are guilty or not could end up being a serious contempt of court issue.
