My very basic legal understanding is that discussing the facts of a case is OK, but giving any opinion on whether people involved are guilty or not could end up being a serious contempt of court issue.I'd be astounded if West Midlands Police decide to prosecute a random person on the internet for commenting on a court case as high profile as this one. It's sub judice. Trials have been jeopardised for less.

Driving at 31 in a 30 zone is illegal but no one's ever gone to prison for doing it.
Although given the number of very high profile current and ex-players having their say, they'd be arresting an awful lot of people.
The Judge is due to begin summing up tomorrow so it should be finished within the next few days, depending on how long the jury is out for.
