Two have been charged with his death, only one has been charged with murder.

Surprised at this but can see him being acquitted. It will be interesting what the prosecution evidence will be though as if it is just using the Taser, then ultimately the Government gave the Police permission for that and could well lead to them being withdrawn.

I imagine that bodycam footage - if they were wearing them - will be key.

Hadn't realised it is over three years ago, why so long?

that's not very long for an investigation nowadays. Lack of resources to investigate slows the whole process up. Even simple crimes where people admit offences can take months even years to prosecute.

The IOPC said it appreciates the "patience" shown during their investigation, which concluded in October 2018.
