Murder is a BIG ask in terms of a trial verdict, so the CPS must have some pretty damning evidence against that officer (to go for murder instead of manslaughter).  Proving intent to kill, especially as it was a taser which is designated a non-lethal weapon - is VERY difficult.  I suspect there is something pretty bad in the evidence pack the public is not yet aware of.

Probably a "nose" cop!

Its still hard to believe we've lost Dalian, Ugo, Big Cyrille, Samuel and Sir Graham in such a short time.

Fuck the police

Really?

Yeah they murdered Dalian.

What's so difficult to understand?

I guess the bit I'm struggling with is how you seem to know how the jury is going to find in a case where someone has only just been charged.

Policing is an incredibly hard job and better people than me do it. My best mate was a PCSO for a few years so I have come to respect how hard it can be. Humbly, I know they are far from perfect but maybe lets just see what happens, rather than blame the entire police force.

I can't believe we lost Dalian. I'll never, ever forget watching the League Cup Final in 1993/94 as a kid - and the ecstasy of his goal. God rest you, big man.

Paul Birch, Neale Cooper, Eamonn Deacy. We have lost a number of players to untimely deaths.

It really upsets me.

He shouldn't have died. He was unwell. He was physically weak. He needed help.

Instead he was killed.

We know enough of what happened that night. We know enough about how the police treat people.

Struggle away if you want.

Research? What I imagine you class as research is the sort of stuff that would embarrass people with an extensive tin foil hat collection.

Luckily, when you actually need the police they won't have the same pathetic mentality you have.

There's a very long list of black men who have died in police custody or after 'coming into contact with the police'.

Perhaps Dalian's status as a public figure means that he can't be as easily ignored.
