Good question, is Clark suspended? Or was it a 1 game ban that took place last night?

Newcastle 2-0 Villa
Newcastle cruise to a comfortable win without even trying, and by coinsidence most of the villa team don't either. Lambert stands on the sidelines scratching his head wondering once again how he was hoodwinked into taking on mission impossible by Randy Lerner.

2-1 to us. I don't know why but I've got a feeling about this one being the start of things evening out and this is the start of one defeat in 18 games.

According to this website Clark is only banned for one game:-

Then if he comes in over Baker at CB then PL is a mug and we have not improved over TSM

On the evidence of last Saturday, I reckon it'll go very much like this. Ho hum.

Sorry, can't see us getting much out of this.  I think we'll play better though and scrape a 1-1.

I'd take that. Maybe three new players making their debut, a bit of confidence from the week, get a point at a difficult location and then come back to Villa Park and beat Swansea.

2-1 to the toon, with Bent getting our goal... I think our performance will be better than the one against Everton.

6-1 Villa.

If Baker retains his place alongside Vlaar, it's hard to see Newcastle getting on the scoresheet.

An extremely optimistic narrow win but only if we don't concede a ridiculous early goal.
